Jenna’s Story

  • I primarily work across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, and Durban. Travel up to 30 kilometers from Johannesburg is included in the standard price. For further locations, I provide a personalized travel arrangement covering flights and accommodation if needed. I don’t profit from travel, but this ensures I arrive fresh and ready to paint.

  • I usually arrive an hour before guests to set up and get comfortable in the space. The cocktail hour is ideal to start engaging guests, photographing them, and painting portraits. As the reception continues, I display completed artwork and move around to continue painting where possible. My setup is flexible and works both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting.

  • I can paint up to 70 guests for larger packages. On average, each portrait takes about seven minutes, depending on outfit complexity. Smaller or more intimate weddings are also available, with packages tailored for cocktail-hour entertainment or partial guest coverage. I can paint up to 70 guests for larger packages.   • I need around two square meters of space for my custom easel and materials. Lighting is important, especially for evening weddings, but I bring my own portable easel light if required.   • Bookings can be made up to the end of 2027, with a waiting list for 2028. After enquiring, I send a personalised package with a quotation. To secure the date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required, followed by a signed agreement. The remaining payment is made one month before the wedding alongside a final consultation with the venue coordinator.

  • Yes, I can include late family members, pets, custom colours, or prioritise certain guests. All special requests are managed discreetly and coordinated with the couple to ensure no one feels left out.

  • Guests take home an A4 watercolour painting in a protective sleeve. Optional digital copies, guest books, or other formats can be arranged for an additional fee. Each portrait is a lasting memory that guests can cherish long after the wedding.

  • I offer three packages tailored to your wedding size and timing:

    • Outline Package – Up to 18 guests. Ideal for smaller, intimate weddings or to cover just the cocktail hour or a small part of the day.

    • Detail Package – Four hours, covering up to 35 guests. A happy medium that allows a selection of guests to be painted, perfect for medium-sized weddings.

    • Full Composition Package – Eight hours, capturing up to 70 guests. This is the ultimate experience, giving guests and couples time to fully settle into the day and enjoy a wide range of portraits throughout the celebration.
